Every option was the same: order from the US. Pay a markup for the privilege of waiting two weeks at the border, eat the exchange rate, and get back gear that — surprise — was the same gear that just failed. Nothing was made here. Nothing supported local makers. Nothing was priced for the people actually using these things at home and in the bay.
